Hazen and Hannah Stevens lead GateCity Buckhead, a spiritual family of diverse cultures and generations in the heart of Atlanta, rooted in formation and prayer. They have spent twenty years building the church in Atlanta, and they are raising four children along the way.

Hazen longs to see a multicultural, cross-denominational, multigenerational bride encounter the fullness of God.
Hazen is the Lead Pastor of GateCity Buckhead, the church he and Hannah planted in 2025 in the Buckhead neighborhood where he grew up. After years away, he came home to build a church for his own neighborhood and city.
He is an author, preacher, and innovative leader. He has written many books, including Seven Seeds for Flourishing, Transformed, and Know Own Change, co-written with Josh Clemons and published by Moody Publishers. He is also known for using technology and AI to strengthen church operations and free leaders for ministry.
Hazen has served in ministry for nearly twenty years, beginning by raising his own support to enter full-time ministry. He joined the staff of GateCity Church in 2006, where his ministry took root, and later served as its Executive Pastor and as domestic director of a pioneer missions organization. He was one of the original leaders of the OneRace Movement, which works toward gospel-centered racial reconciliation and biblical justice in Atlanta, and he serves on its Board of Directors.
Hazen is pursuing a master's in theological foundations at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and Hannah live in Atlanta with their four children.

Hannah co-pastors GateCity Buckhead, where she oversees spiritual formation and small groups, and offers spiritual direction to the wider community. Her new book, The Surrendered Mind, releases November 14, 2026.
She holds a Master's in Spiritual Formation and Direction from Richmont Graduate University (2023), a path that began when she joined Ruth Haley Barton's Transforming Community in 2018. Whether she is pastoring, mothering, writing, leading worship, or being a friend, her desire is to welcome the Bridegroom into every space.
Hannah has served in ministry since 2005. After earning a degree in Psychology and Pre-Medicine from Furman University, she began at the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC, then served as a youth intern at Christ Church of Atlanta. She joined the GateCity Church staff in 2008, serving as a worship leader, intercessor, school of ministry instructor, and member of the Human Resources team.
